How do you efficiently transition your teams to Scaled Agile?
The transition to SAFe is underpinned by the use of SCRUM, but it brings new challenges that teams need to overcome quickly.
Beyond the newness of the framework, roles, ART and different configuration levels, teams need a change of mindset, a new way of working and practices.
This course supports the smooth transition to using SAFe, providing the new knowledge and clarifications necessary for team members to collaborate effectively in the development of the next Product Increment (PI).
Additionally, team members have the opportunity to validate their SAFe knowledge level by accessing learning resources and have the option to take the SAFe Practitioner certification exam.

Acquire the skills to succeed as a member of ART (Agile Release Train) teams and learn how to collaborate effectively with other teams through the SAFe® 6 Practitioner (SP) certification.

Certification Exam Recommended Prerequisites
The course is open to everyone, regardless of experience. However, we do have recommendations for those planning to take the SAFe® Practitioner (SP) certification exam:
- Familiarity with Agile principles and concepts
- Previous contact with key elements of Scrum, Kanban and/or XP
- Working knowledge of software and hardware development processes
Materials included
Participants that pass the certification exam will get:
- Coursework, study materials, and access to SAFe Studio for diploma and digital badge preparation, along with additional tools and resources to support your development in your SAFe role.
- Distance learning through SAFe® Virtual Classrooms.
- One-year membership subscription beginning the day after the course ends.
- Access to a platform with e-learning modules and recommended content for SAFe transformation activities.
- Dedicated forums for members to discuss the SAFe framework and explore ways to enhance performance as part of an Agile team.
- Video playlists featuring recommended content based on your SAFe interests and roles, including resources, templates, and facilitation guides to help you get started.
- Diploma awarded upon successful completion of the SAFe® 6.0 Practitioner exam.

Interested in the exam?
- Name of exam – SAFe® 6 Practitioner
- Question format – Multiple choice (one answer) or multiple select (2-3 answers)
- Delivery – Web-based, closed book, no outside assistance, timed
- Access – Candidates can access the exam through the SAFe Studio Platform, after completing the SAFe 6 for Teams course
- Duration – upon starting, candidates have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) for completion
- Number of questions – 45
- Passing score – 36 out of 45 (80% minimum score for passing)
